Day 1: Drive
After breakfast pick up from Dar Es Salaam, we then drive to Morogoro, enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: Hiking 8 Hours
The next day, we start early after breakfast, around 8.00AM, hiking from Morogoro town to Bondwa peak (2080M), this takes approx. 8 hours roaming through a nature reserve rainforest. Enjoy and good rest overnight in the mountains at Morningside camp.
Day 3: Hiking 8 Hours
We will start from Morningside via stunning forest reserve, experience the, culture, wildlife, and views. Dinner provided and sleep overnight at camp site.
Day 4: Hiking 6 hours
From the second camp to Kinole village where we sleep overnight.
Day 5: Finish
After breakfast catch the bus to Iringa dinner and overnight at the hotel. Iringa hosts one of Africa’s largest national parks the Ruaha National Park.
Day 6: Tranfers | Hike 8 Hours
Pick up from Iringa town to starting point Idodi village 70KM here is a starting point of walking we will hike approx. 14KMS to a river crossing camp and stay in the bush camp. Our trail begins along the Miombo woodland, it is undulating terrain, good for wild life with sable antelope. elephants, and primates if we are fortunate. Here we will stay in our tent, prepare food for dinner, during the night we will have fire story what we refer to as "Bush TV".
Day 7: Hiking 8 Hours
We start early morning, prepare and eat our breakfast, pack our bags, pull the tent down, then begin walking to Ingangidung'u (Red Rock). This villages name is derived from the local language which is "Kinga" means red rock which is a very pretty rock. We will still have another 21KMS to get to our planned camp, otherwise we have a emergency / backup camp, just in case if we can't make it. All going well, enjoy a perfect stay for a night, the camp is close to primary school, again we put the tent up and cook dinner, and set up our tent fire story as usual about nature and community.
Day 8: Hiking 8 Hours
We start early as before, we will start walking to Kaning'ombe village, our camp will be in bush camp it is known as term, approx. camp distance about 17KMS.
Day 9: Hiking 8 Hours
We start early as before, our next hike is too the Isimila stone age site, approx. 18km distance, where we will pass the community along our trek an experience the local peoples daily life, enjoying the smiles and welcoming of the "Hehe" tribe which is the dominant tribe in Iringa. Camping can be done at Isimila stone age site, where we get wash room and full toilet facility, before being picked up to and driving back to Iringa town.
Day 10: Finish | Transfer
Catch a bus and drive to Singida at a town called Katesh, dinner and overnight at Summit hotel.
Day 11: Drive + Hike 6.5 Hours
Start after breakfast at around 8:30 with a short drive to starting point, we start our ascend, enjoy views, accommodation camping at 3100M.
Day 12: Hiking 3-4 Hours
After breakfast the descend down, then proceed walking to Ngindabi village (a Barbaigs tribal area) where we will see local people collecting the salt from the lake an experience local economic activities, dinner and overnight at local guest house.
Day 13: Villages | Transfer
After breakfast short walk to different villages to experience the local life of the Barbaigs and Wairaqui tribes, then a lunch, before the drive to Arusha, where dinner and overnight at the guesthouse awaits us.
Day 14: Beach Transfer
Catch the bus to Bagamoyo spend at night at the beach resort on situated on the coast of the Indian Ocean.
Day 15: Beach | Transfer Dar Es Salaam
Enjoy the many Historical aspects including Livingstone tower, and wandering along the beach, relaxing and then later a drive to Dar Es Salaam for dinner and overnight there.
Day 16: Finish | Airport Transfer
Drive you to the airport.
